A midi-bed with storage, also known as the cabin bed, gives the best of both sleeping areas and lots of storage space for play with toys. Make a den or use it as a car park for their favorite toys with shelves which they can personalize and use in the way they want.
Size
Midi beds with storage are generally lower than high sleepers and have a ladder or staircase that is shorter, this makes them ideal for smaller rooms. They are made up of only a single UK mattress and add a range of useful components beneath. From a desk that opens into an open cupboard that is ready to hold totes to elegant drawer storage that is smooth and has no wobble operation.
Our midi cabin beds are available in a variety of colours so you can choose one that best suits your child's bedroom. Some go more than that and come with an array of custom-designed storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units on wheels. There are four storage drawers, and two cupboards that have doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level with doors that match the color of the chosen foot and headboards.
The Luna low-line loft bed or the midi-storage bed is small and includes everything you require. A ladder that can be rotated as well as a desk on wheels that can slide in and out, and a three drawer cabinet and chest are all included. You can also get it in a reverse configuration like the ladder on the left. Ask in the store or include this request at checkout.

Many of our customers choose an easy-line loft bed with stairs that are turned. This compact midi loft with storage features everything your child requires the desk can slide in and out on wheels, there are 3 drawers for their trinkets or toys, and a large cupboard to store their books in.
Some midi loft beds with storage come with a desk already integrated into the bunk (as illustrated in the photo above) Some, such as our Luna midi bunk come with a ladder positioned on the right-hand side so that the desk can be placed on the left (please inquire in store, or on the phone or put this in the comments section when shopping for this if it is important to you).
Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden base. This isn't included in the cost of the bed, so we suggest looking at our mattress deals to find one that suits your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models come with a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used to host sleepovers, or to add more storage space under the bed. These can be either open or equipped with doors (please refer to the product's details for more information).
A lot of midi cabins have a desk that can be moved from one level to the next, or chests. This gives the children the space they need to store everything they own. It also means that they don't have to take up floor space by using heavy shelving or wardrobes.
Some models have gone one step further by having cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
